How does PRP work?

The process begins with a small blood draw from your arm. This blood is then placed in a centrifuge, which separates the platelet-rich plasma from the rest of the blood components. The PRP, rich in growth factors, is then carefully injected into your scalp at the level of the hair follicles. These growth factors stimulate the hair follicles, encouraging new hair growth and improving the health and thickness of existing hair.

Is PRP Hair Restoration safe and effective?

Since the treatment uses your own blood, it minimizes the risk of allergic reactions or adverse side effects. PRP has been shown to increase hair count, hair thickness, and the growth phase of the hair cycle. The procedure is quick, non-surgical and requires no downtime, allowing you to resume your daily activities immediately.

PRP therapy usually involves a series of treatment sessions spaced about 4-6 weeks apart. Most patients start to see improvement after the first few sessions, with optimal results appearing after several months.

How Does neurotoxin treatment for hyperhidrosis work?

Neurotoxin treatment has been proven as an effective therapy for hyperhidrosis in multiple studies. u003ca href=u0022https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17306417u0022u003eOne clinical studyu003c/au003e* with 322 participants who self-identified as having severe underarm sweating that impacted their daily lives discovered that half of the patients who sought neurotoxin treatment achieved an effective response. An effective response was determined if their condition improved by two grades on the Hyperhidrosis Disease Severity Scale in the time between the beginning of the study and their first two treatments, or after one treatment if they saw sustained results and were not required to undergo another round of treatment. Participants who were treated were 81% more likely to achieve a reduction in sweating, compared to 41% who did not undergo the treatment.
